Robert Copsey

I served in Iraq, and was stationed primarily in 29 palms save for MCT and boot camp. I hate deserts, but love desert. I am joining Iraq vets against the war because I believe we are wasting our countries resources to secure oil interests for oil companies that already make too much money and receive subsidies on top of it. Its total BS, and the sooner we get out of there the better everything will be. It was ill-advised to go in at best. Also, I really hate that we ( The U.S.) continue to support dictatorships around the world for those same business interests. Its not a bad thing to pay someone a wage commensurate to their efforts and needs, and we shouldn't rig elections or fight wars to keep that from happening. If some did that to me, that would be a war worth fighting.
