International Women's Day - Statement of Solidarity with MST Survivors

March is Women's History Month and we want to honor the contributions our female service members and veterans make everyday. Today, we celebrate International Women's Day by calling on all of our members to sign a petition condemning the mishandling of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) cases.

We believe MST affects the entire military and veteran community and is not only a women's issue. It's about the rights we all have as humans to live and work in an environment free of harrassment, abuse, or assualt. If you're a veteran and share this belief, show your support for survivors of MST by signing the petition.   We encourage our supporters to spread the word by viewing our tell a friend page.

Fear, Guilt and Love: Reflections on the World Social Forum from a US Veteran

I’ve tried, pretty successfully, to live a life without too much fear. Growing up I didn’t follow the rules of stranger danger. I talked to everyone I met, picked up hitchhikers, went out to unfamiliar places alone, and I’...
