Women Say No to War Rally!

This weekend marks the 8th Anniversary of the American invasion of Iraq.  Rally with CODEPINK to Bring Our War $$ Home and end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  

 WHAT: Women Say No to War Rally

 WHEN: Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM

 WHERE: Lafeyette Park (In front of the White House)

Join with CODEPINK for a "Women Say no to War" Rally.  The event will feature CODEPINK founders, Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans, Terry O' Neil from the National Organization for Women, Palestinian peace activist Dina Kennedy, Linda Leaks from Empower DC, visionary activist Caroline Casey and others!  There will be live music from DC's all women acapella group, Songrise.  United, we will bring forth a message of peace.  Please wear your pink!

At noon CODEPINK will join with Veterans for Peace and others for a rally in Lafayette Park followed by a march on the White House.
