SAVE THE DATE!

The time has come for our annual Northeast IVAW Regional Retreat so let's put the band back together!  A lot of exciting work has happened over the past year and there is much more to come.  The Regional Retreat will be an opportunity to share lessons from the past year and build on opportunities to consolidate our resources and maximize our capacity to further our goals and mission.

Ithica Veteran Sanctuary/Ft. Drum, NY

DATE: April 22-24, 2011

If you are interested in being a part of the planning process (supporting logistics, agenda planning, travel coordination, member outreach, donation gathering, etc) please contact:

Travel:  Participants will be responsible for their travel.  

Flying:  Ithaca-Tomkins Regional Airport

Train:  Syracuse is the nearest Amtrak station w/ bus/shuttle service available to Ithaca

Driving:  Members will be carpooling from all over, contact Chantelle Bateman to get plugged in

If you would like to attend but cannot afford the travel cost don’t let that stop you!  For help with fundraising, please contact NE Field Organizer Chantelle Bateman (chantellebateman@ivaw.org, 202-758-7818, “Chantelle Bateman” on Facebook, “chantanasparks” on Skype)

Food:  Breakfast and lunch will be provided Saturday & Sunday. At this time, participants will be responsible for diner.  The logistics team will be working to gather food donations for all meals.  Please share any special dietary need in the below NE Retreat Questionnaire
