I am a veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan during my time of service I truly believed in what we were doing there, after the things I have seen heard of and was a part of that discouraged me alot during my deployments when I entered back into civilian life I realized the reasons I fought this war was not at all what I heard in the media as a teenager, why are they saying the middle east hates our freedoms when are very own government are the ones passing bills that strip them away from us and then use their police force to attack us when we decide to speak out against it when we speak out against corrupt leaders of this country who are paid off by corporate banks why do they use their police to handcuff us and beat us, why when I return home am quickly harassed by police I'm not just against the Iraq war but I am against all wars I am against any government that beats and kills it's own people in the streets for practicing their rights to speak out against injustice I swear by our bill of rights which has been stripped from the very people it is supposed to protect I joined IVAW because I feel I have to do something
