Maggie Martin

Maggie Martin is a Co-Director and Director of Organizing with Iraq Veterans Against the War, she's been a member of IVAW since 2007 and a staff member since 2011. Maggie was in the Army from 2001-2006, she had 3 deployments to Kuwait and Iraq in 2002, 2003, and 2005 then left the Army as a Sergeant in 2006. Maggie has a M.A. is Social Justice from Marygrove College in Detroit and she has participated in some of IVAWs biggest events including the 2008 marches on the DNC and RNC, the 2011 NATO Medal Return, Fort Hood Outreach Drive, and the Current Right to Heal Initiative.
