John Campbell

Born in Waterloo IA, transplanted to SoCal @ age 7. Graudated High School in 98', joined the U.S. Navy 31 Aug 98, Shore Duty @ NMC San Diego 99-01. Transferred to 1st MAR DIV...While on leave between duty stations 9/11 happened. Checked in to 1st MAR DIV, 1st BN 4th MAR, A CO WPNS PLT. Floated in support of 13th MEU for the Afghanistan campaign but never put on the ground so we cut squares in the Arabian for 4 months.....not fun. Returned home about Jun 02....Redeployed Jan 03 for O.I.F with H&S Co. BAS....funny i remember before people caught on, the orginal campaign name was Op. Iraqi Liberation....O.I.L... Was part of RCT 1 through the intial assault and push to Baghdad. Saw lot of heinous shit. Did more care for innocent civilians than U.S. personnel. Im joining and hoping you accept me because I know whats really going down over there...im down for the Anti-War movement, our people get sent half a world away to do the bidding of corrupt politicians, our presence there has nothing to do with democracy. And when we get home, the ones lucky enough to not have had something blown off are troubled for life with PTSD. Medical Care provided for our vets is UNSAT. I could go on for days....Bottom line, eff the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen...Count me in if you'll have me....im gonna have to dig for my 214, Almost positve I dont have my old military ID's...Hope my pic will do the trick??
