James Umland

6 year active duty Navy veteran (EM2) got out in 2003, then joined the Army Reserves in 2004 Deployed to Iraq twice (06-07 and 10-11) I'm absolutely disgusted with this country's warmongering and illicit extra-judicial executions via drone strikes. I plan on walking out of my contract (either via going IRR or by choosing conscientious objector status) in the next month, actually, after 14 years of service. I no longer feel comfortable "just finishing out my 20". I'm very vocal with social media, primarily facebook. When I heard about IVAW, I figured I should join.
