I grew up in rural Louisiana during the 1960s and 70s. I joined the service in 1984 and deployed to panama in 1989. Went to Germany 1990-1993, then Fort Riley, Ks where I deployed to Bosnia in 1997. I did Korea in 1999 and separated from the Army with 16 years in, trying to stay home with my family more. I joined the Arkansas National Guard to not lose retirement benefits and was deployed to Egypt in 2002 and Iraq in 2004. Now I work as a postman in Missouri after retiring from Fort Leonard Wood, MO in 2006.
I am joining IVAW because in 2015, I happened across the documentary film, "Anatomy of a Great Deception." This was on YouTube and I've been going down the "rabbit hole" ever since. The war, my deployments, my divorce from my first wife of 20 years have all be based on lies and deceit! I oppose the military industrial complex and the New World Order! Too many innocent people have died and I had made Iraqi friends when I was there, just as I did in Bosnia and Germany and Korea, etc...people will sing a different tune when this WWIII we've started comes here!
