Will you help IVAW make it to the finish line?

published by IVAW Staff on 12/31/13 2:13pm

Today is the last day to contribute to IVAW before the close of 2013. We have not yet reached our goal of $40,000, but we are so close!  With your help, we can start the New Year off right. Please consider making a generous,  tax-deductible donation before the ball drops.

With your support, we have accomplished so much this year, and we are using that momentum to hit the ground running in 2014.

For the past 10 years, IVAW has been speaking truth to power and shedding light on the realities of war, and our work is finally beginning to pay off. Now more than ever, the people in this country are overwhelmingly opposed to more wars overseas. As we take on these urgent issues, we feel confident that people like you have our back, and that is why we are reaching out to you to help us make 2014 a successful new year.

With your help in 2013:

- We were able to launch a major initiative to hold the government accountable for human rights violations committed against Iraqis and US Servicemembers.

- We were able to train a team of organizers to take on more work in 2014 and increase our ability to meet our goals.

- We were able to rapidly respond to threats of a military strike against Syria and contribute to its prevention.

That work will continue in the new year, but only if we are able to meet our goal. Will you continue to have our back?

You can make a one-time, tax deductible donation online by clicking here. You can also help ensure continued financial security by making a recurring donation by the month or quarter.

You can also contribute by mailing a check or money order to:

IVAW, PO Box 3565, New York, NY 10008-3565

Checks dated before January 1 will still be elligible for a tax deduction. For donations of stock or any additional questions, you can contact our Director of Development by email at wagnerjm@ivaw.org, or you can call our National Office at 646-723-0989.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to fighting for a better world. We wish you a peaceful and prosperous New Year.

Sincerely,

Maggie, Matt, Joyce and Julia Staff, Iraq Veterans Against the War
