Weather won't effect the IVAW Convention

Healing the Wounds, IVAW Convention 2012 is less then a week away. If plan to attend and still haven't registered, please do so today.

Here on the east coast, where the convention committee is busy preparing for next weekend, Hurricane Sandy is just now making landfall. Most major transportation hubs are already shutdown and the news speaks of possible power outages throughout the region.

That said, by Wednesday the storm should be cleared up and the forecast for Baltimore is partly sunny and 50 degrees. This storm might slow the convention committee down and make it hard for us to communicate but won't affect our IVAW members from across the country coming together to have a powerful inspiring convention.

Can't wait to see you there
