POSTERS & GRAPHICS AGAINST US MILITARY INTERVENTION IN SYRIA

Please share your favorite image on facebook and/or email your friends, co-workers, and family. Please download and print these posters. Use them at protests, put them in your windows, post them on public messaging boards, put one up at your office, and/or wheat-paste them across your town and encourage others to do the same.

In effort to respond to the pro-military intervention messaging dominating the media Iraq Veterans Against the War put out a call for artists and creatively minded peoples to make posters and graphics against US military intervention in Syria.

We will be posting all the accepted responses here with an understanding that these images will be used and shared widely.

Posters and graphics can be designed on the computer or hand drawn and then photographed with a high resolution camera. All posters and graphics should be 11 x 17 inches or 22 x 34 inches at 300dpi saved as PDFs or JPEG files. We encourage artists to use the references below for proposed slogans and prompts and to create positive messages of resistance.  

Submissions should be emailed to aarhughes@ivaw.org.  You can also send the file using dropbox to aarhughes@gmail.com

  • Dimension: 11 x 17 inches or 22 x 34 inches at 300dpi

  • Format: JPEG or PDF

  • Printing Color: Black and white is preferred for ease of printing but not required

  • Paper Color: White is preferred for ease of printing but not required
