Siri Margerin

I grew up in the ‘50s in rural western Pennsylvania, through the civil rights movement and the war in Vietnam. I graduated from Philadelphia College of Art with a degree in painting in 1972, went on to travel the US, working jobs from fruit picking to bar tending to (fish) factory work. Settled in San Francisco, went into animation production as a career while raising two kids. Gradually became a more or less full time activist/organizer after 2001.

I have been on the National Steering Committee of United for Peace and Justice since 2008. I have worked extensively with local and national peace and justice groups through out these last twelve years. I am the coordinator of the Bay Area GI Rights Network. I am on the board of Under the Hood Cafe & Outreach Center. I am a member of Civilian Soldier Alliance since 2010 and a former steering committee member. IVAW and CivSol are my home.

I live with a fearful pitgirl named Sweet BooleeAnn who I adore, my scottish cat A Little Bit Fuzzy and remain a pretty huge fan of those 30 something kids of mine.

I am still an illustrator-graphic designer-photographer/artist.

Jen Rogue

Jen Rogue is a steering committee member with Civilian Soldier Alliance and is based out of Austin, Texas. She has been organizing with IVAW through her work at both Coffee Strong and Under the Hood Cafe since 2009 and has been active in the anti-war movement for over a decade. In addition to her anti-militarist work, Jen also organizes for reproductive justice in her local community.
