ABOUT FACE People of Color Retreat, New Orleans, LA
Join us on April 12 - 15, 2018 for ABOUT FACE: VAW's first People of Color (POC) Committee retreat in New Orleans, LA.
The goals for the gathering are to:
- Build community among POC member leaders - Engage in collective healing and therapeutic workshops - Train in artistic and creative action - Connect with local grassroots organizations
Participants should plan on arriving no later than 2pm on Thursday, April 13th. We will wrap up by lunch time on Sunday, April 15th.
We are asking for a sliding scale of $100 to $300, or whatever is affordable for you, which includes lodging and meals.
Registration is open to all AF POC members, their families, partners and close AF allies.

Childcare will be provided during the program beginning after breakfast and ending at dinner time. If parents need additional support please contact Jose or Jovanni. Please indicate on the registration from the first name(s) and age(s) of your children) so we can plan for lodging and childcare provider ratios. Also if your children have any dietary restrictions or other special needs list those in the registration form.
