IVAW receives hundreds of speaker requests each month. We will prioritize filling requests that are at schools and college campuses, at music venues, or are near a military base or National Guard installation. In addition, we will fill your request based on the extent to which it:

1. helps IVAW recruit new members;
2. helps IVAW provide the reality of military service to young people considering joining the military;
3. helps IVAW empower active duty soldiers to speak out against the Iraq occupation; and
4. helps IVAW raise money to fund our work.

All IVAW speaker requests (with some exceptions) will require the host to cover all travel costs and a speaker’s fee made out to IVAW. Exceptions will be made for speaking events at public schools.

IVAW will not accept any requests with less than three weeks’ notice.
