Pentagon 5

![]() On November 17th, 2006 the charges against the Pentagon 5 where dismissed. Arrested for posting of materials and disobeying a lawful order, four members of IVAW (Geoff Millard, Joe Hatcher, Toby Hartbarger, Steven Mortillo) and one supporter (Tristyn Watson) made up the Pentagon 5. On September 10th of 2006 the Pentagon opened for a one-day only tour inspiring members of IVAW, VFP, and MFSO to take the tour of the crash site. This was not intended to be a protest but a witnessing from vets and military family members of the physical manifestation that the propagandist idea of 9-11 has become. While at the sit, it seemed obvious to the vets that there was a major disconnect between what the Pentagon was saying and what it was doing. The memorial included a purple heart for injured vets though those who work there seem to have no problem using depleted uranium weapons that will kill US service members for 4.5 billion years (DU’s half-life). Seeing this disconnect a member of the group decided to leave some cards containing information next to information on “surviving war as a Christian.” |
