A bit about Voting, from a Veteran

Its about that time again, when we go to the polls and vote for the candidate we hate the least. If you are lucky you have Barbara Lee, otherwise you vote for the lesser of two evils and thats if your vote gets counted......

So why am I writing to everyone, as a veteran and not just as a concerned citizen?

See that guy on the right?

It is of wounded veteran, Robert Acosta. I am writing because when he got home someone asked him what happened to his arm and when he told him he lost it in Iraq the person said "Is that still going on?"

There is a war going on everyday. Every night you go to sleep in your warm, safe bed there are soldiers being shot at, ducking mortar rounds and not sleeping because someone has to stay up and keep an eye on things.

It is time for them to come home. It's time for the Iraqi people to choose their own destiny without US interference.
Voting on Nov 7th is only the first step. You have to let your candidate know that you want the troops home now, because its right and because they have been there long enough.

Support your troops. Bring them Home. Start by voting.
Veterans all over this country, including myself, are standing up and saying this war is wrong, it must end now. Stand with us by calling on your elected represenative to bring the troops home NOW.
