by matthoward | Thu, 03/22/2007 - 7:09pm
Hey guys - This reporter up in Burlington, VT is trying to expose how universities are not not waiving fees while vets wait for their GI Bill money. Obviously this issue is ridiculous - this money is guaranteed to us. There is no reason to cause undue stress by requiring money upfront while we have to wait on the VA. She's good to go - if you've got an experiences, hook her up. Here is what she asked me to post: Reporter wants to hear experience with GI bill educational benefits I am a reporter looking for recent veterans to talk to me about their How long did it take between the time you applied for college Were there times when the VA check for educational benefits did not If so, what did the university do: Did you NOT sign up for the $1,200 [$100 a month] kicker during Please email or give me a call--or give me a number so I can call Thanks, The views expressed here are the views of individual members, not Iraq Veterans Against the War as a whole.
