I'm a prior-service active duty (May 1990-Dec 1996) 98C Electronic Warfare Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst who joined the Army Reserves after 9/11 as a 37F Psychological Operations (PSYOPS) Specialist, assigned to the 346th PSYOPS CO (ABN) in Columbus, Ohio. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF1) from April to Novemeber (2003) as a PSYOPS Sgt/E5 attached to V CORPS at Camp Victory, and eventually with the 82nd Airborne Division at Camp Champion Main in Ar Ramadi. Since returning from Iraq, I have been busy furthering my education, managing an IT department for a law enforcement agency, being a good husband, and raising my two young sons who went nearly a year without a dad. Stop Loss, poor equipment, lies about the reasons for invading Iraq, and over-paid defense contractors are just some of the many reasons why I think the U.S. shouldn't be in Iraq. I joined Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) because I believe patriotic American warriors keep on fighting, long after the uniform stops fitting.
