I was a 19 year old who had no money and no direction, so I did what would bail me out of that situation and joined the military. I was a combat medic and loved helping others. When we deployed and saw the horrors and anguish it caused people I knew this war was wrong and needed to be stopped immediately. IVAW has helped me cope with what I feel and the anger I hold inside but still suffer from PTSD and panic attacks regularly. I just want America to wake up and come out of this state of comfort to realize that veterans are not being taken care of and we suffer even if we were not injured physically. We need to stop this war and stop it now!
