In February 2003, I received order to Ft. Gordon, GA to prepare for deployement to "South west Asia". We later found out this would include Kuwait and Iraq. I was attached to the 67th CSH at the infamous Abu Ghraib, Iraq. While there I realized how immoral this war was. Innnocent mem were sepaerated from their families, and forced to live in tents with no air conditioners. I also saw how the soldiers morale was decreasing because they did not have a real objective in Iraq. I guess the only real objective for soldiers over there is to MAKE IT BACK! |
