I enlisted in the US Army as an Airborne Infantryman in September 2001, and was part of the initial surge into Iraq. *Update: I turned myself in on November 14, 2007 at Fort Knox and was released after 2 and a half days. *Update: I was informed in mid-January that my DD 214 had arrived by mail to my mother's address.
