I joined the Army National Guard in 2003 as a 92A Automated Logistical Supply Specialist. I remimber getting ready to get on the bus for Ft. Jackson and watching us invade Iraq. I figured it would all be over before I got back to my unit, I was mistaken. I spent 10 months guarding Pueblo Chemical Depot (Pueblo, CO) on Noble Eagle IV. In 2005-2006 I spent 15mo on OIF at Camp Cropper Detention Facility- Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq doing perimiter security and gate duty. Lastly, I went to New Mexico to do Border Patrol for 6mo before I cracked because of my PTSD. I am currently going through the motions for a medical discharge due to it. |
