Decade of War Awareness Month "Bombs and Budgets" Curriculum

War Resisters League and the South Asia Solidarity Initiative have put together a series of popular eduction-style workshops that explore how organizing against federal military spending relates to, and can forward, local campaigns for social and economic justice, as well as how the past decade of war has effected Afghans and what they are doing in response.

We encourage you to organize a workshop using this curriculum September 7th through October 7th. WRL piloted these workshops with NYC-based economic and community organizations before the national launch, for what we hope will be a widespread month of education on these issues, culminating in an event on Oct. 7th, 10 years since the ‘war on terror’ began
