IVAW 2014 Organizer Training: How We Make Change
This Year's Organizer Training will be happening in Dallas, TX from May 30th through June 1st. IVAW members in Texas are working with Civilian Soldier Alliance and other close allies to make this event a success. We plan to start the program with a dinner and event on Friday May 30th, starting at about 4pm and ending with a creative action Sunday afternoon. Saturday will be a day packed full of workshops, please plan to attend the whole weekend. Child care will be arranged if there is a need.
You must register to attend, registration is donation based for members and sliding scale from $25-$75 for allies.

3:00-3:30 pm - Organizing Training attendees arrive and set-up
4:00 - 4:30 - Welcome, intro to evening and brief intro to the weekend
4:30-6:00- Full Group Grassroots Fundraising Workshop with Joyce Wagner
Public:
6:00pm - door open for public welcome reception (w/drinks & light appetizers) and silent auction.
7:00 pm - dinner & program
7:00 - Dinner Served
7:30 fundraising program "Right to Heal the Wounds of War") begins
9:00pm Closing and announce silent auction winners.

Housing is crash space and camping, we can arrange bedding for people who need it and you are welcome to get a room nearby at your own expense.
Travel scholarships are available, you can apply when you register. We will work to set up car-pools where possible.
Child care will be made available if needed. Please fill out event registration.
